Farm Tractors: Their Uses

Some people might consider that farm tractors are only utilised for transferring materials from one point to another. This is just one of its uses and to consider it the only usage for a tractor is a wrong idea. There are several paraphernalia that can be attached to a tractor and make it more usable in agriculture. When a farmer is creative enough, he can save plenty of money since he can use the tractor and not resort to buying other farm machinery.

Tractors can be used to cultivate land. During planting season, the field has to be prepared beforehand. Large chunks of soil should be tilled, so the roots of new plants can penetrate the soil. Attach a metal plow into the tractor and drive through the expanse of the farm. Work is done without less effort and huge earth clumps are broken down. Then it is ready for planting the seeds or seedling of the cropping season.

Connect a drill or planter into the tractor so sowing seeds becomes easy. Then you can scatter the seeds however you want them once the drilling phase is done. Several days after that, the new seeds will sprout. It would be attractive to insects who love to eat tender leaves. Spraying chemicals on these plants can be made using used tractors by pulling a sprayer and making a round in the new field of green.
